In this historical fiction novel written by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This novel follows a journalist, Monique, who is trying to make ends meet with her career and personal life. She’s handed a career opportunity of a lifetime with an offer to interview the exclusive and mysterious 1960s Hollywood star Evelyn Hugo's biography of fame, scandal and love in a tell-all book.
My Thoughts:
This novel is a perfectly written modernized love story in today’s society. A great read for the behind-the-scenes feel of the raw reality lifestyle of the rich and famous. The ending was semi-predictable for me but not very predictable if that makes sense? I would definitely add this to your romance, and historical fiction book list.

This book is being adapted into a film for the Hollywood star. There is not a lot of detail out there on where it stands but there have been rumors it will become a film on Netflix! If you have read this novel, I am curious who you think would play the perfect roll of Evelyn Hugo !!?? Possibly Lady Gaga ?? just a thought. . .
